Concentrated classics: Bug Hunt / David's Midnight Magic / Lode Runner | NES Works Gaiden 71
Youtube Video Description:
This week's stopover in the weird, wild land of Atari XE Game System reveals the console's not-so-secret origins as a home computer. Between hosting (very good!) classic 8-bit titles and a brand new light gun shooter that looks like it's running on a green monochromatic monitor even on a color consumer TV set, this trio of XEGS titles screams "home computer!" Which isn't a bad thing, but did these aging releases actually hold up against comparable titles available at the same time on competing consoles? Only the few who owned an XEGS at the time can say for sure....
