Analogue NT Test: Akumajou Densetsu (redux)

Watch on Youtube

Youtube Video Description:

Last summer, I bought an Analogue NT for RGB NES game capture, but my first attempts to record game footage were pretty awful. Since then, I've learned a great about both the hardware, the science of setting up cables properly, and so forth. This second attempt at capturing footage of the Japanese version of Castlevania III, I think, you'll find to be vastly superior than my previous attempt. The colors might be slightly too bright, but that's down to my capturing software — on a CRT screen, this game looks phenomenal. (There's less to be said for the quality of the actual gameplay, but I'm going to blame that on the fact that I recorded this after a couple of glasses of wine at dinner.)
